We are pleased to share RAMP’s Strategic Plan for the next three years. We remain committed to targeting the inequities that lead to asthma disparities related to our goals of healthy and stable housing, healthy air, and healthcare equity for all.
We’ll continue to utilize our core strategies in support of our goals. Select examples include:
Building capacity: Through direct and responsive technical assistance (TA), we build the capacity of the asthma field. By creating and disseminating tools and models, as well as providing strategic guidance and training opportunities, we increase the collective impact on reducing the inequitable burden of asthma. In 2025, we look forward to providing TA to states and communities across the country in their efforts to build and sustain home-based asthma services.
Creating linkages: We create linkages for peer learning, collaboration, and network-building. We also create connections across issues and sectors to reduce siloes, inform research and policy, and advance comprehensive solutions. In 2025, we look forward to expanding our CHW network to include asthma educators across the country who we will bring together for peer discussions, as well as workshops on diverse topics.
Mobilizing networks to advance policy and systems change: We work with our networks to identify policy needs, solutions, and priorities. We advocate—and lift the voices of our asthma networks and partners—for policy and systems changes to address asthma, asthma disparities, and social and environmental inequities. In 2025, we look forward to advancing policies to address extreme heat in rental housing.
There are so many other activities that we’re looking forward to in 2025. We encourage you to check out the outcomes we identify for each goal in our strategic plan. We think you’ll find some that align with your own work or interests and encourage you to reach out to us. Let us know if you’d like to join one of our networks, collaborate on a project, or partner on a joint funding proposal, or directly support our work through donations. Partnerships remain essential to our work, and we look forward to continuing our progress together over the coming years.
