The Allergy & Asthma Network and the American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders (APFED) have partnered to develop and launch a web-based Biologics Toolkit. Biologics are specialized medications designed to treat the source of symptoms rather than the symptoms themselves. They have emerged as an additional treatment option for many diseases, including severe asthma. The toolkit, launched in early 2023, presents patients with a comprehensive overview of all available biologics, explains common side effects and how to administer medications, and debunks common myths.
