To address the unique indoor air quality (IAQ) challenges faced by US schools, the American Lung Association launched the Clean Air School Challenge. Through this program, individual schools nationwide can receive up to $9,500 grant funding to assess indoor air quality, develop a unique IAQ management plan, and/or implement some activities of their IAQ management plan.
Participating schools will also receive technical assistance, training, and the opportunity to join learning collaboratives. To get started, schools must first join the Clean Air School Challenge and then apply for grant funding.
